About Lucas

Lucas Isiah Brown is a New York and Los Angeles based actor and filmmaker. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association, and represented by Independent Artist Group and M88.

Working across stage and screen, Lucas is drawn to characters whose sensitivity and intelligence exist alongside power, ambition, and emotional volatility. His work is grounded in classical training and shaped by a contemporary instinct for intimate, bold, character driven storytelling.

Lucas earned his BFA in Acting from Boston University’s School of Theatre, with additional training at Interlochen Arts Academy, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Recent stage/studio credits include Claudio in Measure for Measure, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and Prior Walter in Angels in America.

He recently wrote, produced, and starred in the original short film BAD SUGAR!, a darkly comic thriller created with independent filmmakers in New York and Los Angeles. The film is currently in post-production ahead of its festival run.
